Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • Rice- 1cup


  • Boiled kabuli chana- 1cup


  • Onion- 1medium


  • Ginger and garlic paste- 1tsp


  • Tomato - 1medium


  • Curd- 1/2cup


  • Haldi- 1/2tsp


  • Red chili powder- 1/2tsp


  • Garam masala- 1/2tsp


  • Cumin powder- 1/4tsp


  • Coriander powder- 1/4tsp


  • Chopped coriander leaves- 3tbsp


  • Chopped mint leaves- 3tbsp


  • Cumin- 1/2tsp


  • Green cardamom- 2


  • Clove- 2


  • Cinnamon- 1/2inch piece


  • Salt- 1/2tsp


  • Oil- 2tsp

Directions

  • Wash and clean rice and soak for 20mins
  • In the mean time clean chop onion and tomato
  • In a handi heat oil and add all the whole spices and let it crackle
  • Now add chopped onion and saute up to golden.
  • Then add ginger and garlic paste and saute up to raw smell goes
  • Now add all dry spices and saute properly.
  • Add curd to it cook up to dry.
  • Then add boiled chana and cook up to oil separates.
  • Now add soaked rice and add water. It should be the double amount of rice.
  • Cover it and cook up to done
  • Now garnish with chopped coriander and mint leaves and serve hot
