Ingredients

Serves 3

  • Rice- 1.5cup

  • Mushrooms- 200gms

  • Onion- 2small

  • Ginger and garlic paste- 1tbsp

  • Green chili- 2

  • Coriander leaves- 1/4cup

  • Mint leaves-1/4cup

  • Ghee- 1tbsp

  • Cumin- 1/2tsp

  • Cinnamon- 1inch piece

  • Green cardamom- 2

  • Black pepper corn- 1/4tsp

  • Clove- 3

  • Salt- 1/2tsp

  • Coconut milk- 1.5cup

Directions

    Wash and clean rice properly. Soak rice for 15mins.

    In the mean time clean and chop onion, mushrooms and green chili

  • 03

    In a handi heat ghee and add all the whole spices and let it crackle.

  • 04

    Then add chopped onion and green chili and saute up to golden.

  • 05

    Now add ginger and garlic paste to it and saute again.

  • 06

    Add chopped mushrooms to it and saute up to dry.

  • 07

    Now add soaked rice to it and saute up to dry.

    Now add 1.5cup of coconut milk and 1.5cup of water. Also add salt to it and mix.

    Cover the handi and cook up to the rice is cooked abd pulao is dry.
