Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 2 cups rice


  • 200 gms cauliflower


  • 1 potato


  • 2 onion


  • 4 tomatoes


  • 10_12 garlic cloves


  • 5_6 green chillies


  • 2 tsp red chilli powder


  • 2 tsp dhania powder


  • 1 tsp turmeric


  • 2 tsp garam masala


  • 1 tbsp biryani masala

Directions

  • Here is a simple Cauliflower pulao/Gobi r. This is also ideal for lunch box, both kids and elders will love this pulao.
  • Firstly cut cauliflower into small florets and put them in hot water for 5 mins.
  • Wash and soak rice for 20 mins. Cut potatotes into small cubes
  • Coarsely Grind garlic and green chillies Finely chop onion.
  • Fry cauliflower and potato seperately Now heat oil in a pan and saute onion till light brown.
  • Add the garlic & chillie paste and stir it well .saute it nicely till it leaves aroma.
  • Now add the dry spices and mix well.
  • Cook for 2 mins then add tomatoes and cook on low flame till tomatoes are mashed.
  • Now add the rice and roast it well. Add water accirdingly and let it boil.
  • After 1 boil add the fried cauliflower and potato mix it well
  • Cover the pan and let it cook on low flame till done.
  • Enjoy hot with curd.
