Ingredients
Serves 4
4 boiled and mashed potatoes
1/4 cup finely chopped spring onion
1/ 4 Cup finally chopped spring garlic
1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage
1/2 cup finely chopped Capsicum
1/4 Cup finely chopped carrot
5 crushed garlic cloves
1 tbsp soya sauce
1 tbsp Chili sauce
1 teaspoon red chili flakes
1 teaspoon black pepper
Table spoon cornflour dissolved in 3/4 water
4 table spoon rice floor for rolling tikkis
2 tablespoon oil for frying tikkis
1 tspoon salt or according to taste
For 4 burgers
4 burger buns
4 table spoon veg. Mayonese
8 onion slices
4 cabbage leaves
4 table spoon melted butter
Directions
Heat the oil in a pan.
Add the garlic and saute on a medium flame for few seconds.
Add spring onion, spring garlic, capsicum, carrot and cook on a medium flame for 3-4 minutes.
Add soya sauce and chilly sauce.
Add black pepper and red chilli flakes.
Mix well.
Add the potatoes and salt and cook on a medium flame for 2 more minutes.
Remove from the flame.
Divide into 4 equal portion.
Shape each portion into a circle shape.
Dip each tikkis in the cornflour mixture.
Roll it in rice flour.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and deep fry each tikkis.
For burger, cut each burger bun horizontally into two.
Apply 1 tspoon of butter insides of each half of the burger bun and toast them.
Apply 1 table spoon of mayonese spread on the buttered side of all the bun halves.
Place a lower half of the bun on a serving plate.
Place 1 cabbage leaf, onion ring and tikki cover it.
Cover an upper half of the bun with the buttered side facing down.
Press it lightly.
Serves immideatly with ketchup.
