Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 bowl jaggery


  • 3/4 glass fat free rice


  • 2 glass water


  • 2 tsp desi ghee


  • 1 tsp fennel seeds


  • 1 tsp cardamom powder


  • 1 tsp melon seeds


  • 1/2 bowl mixed dry fruits like almonds, cashew, pistachios, anjeer and black raisins


  • silver balls for garnish 1 tsp

Directions

  • Take a big pan. Add jaggery in it. Allow it to melt down.
  • When it melts completely, add water. After a boil in water, add washed and presoaked rice for about 10 minutes.
  • Add ghee in it after adding rice. After 3-4 boils in water, by stirring in between add cardamom powder and fennel seeds.
