1 cup rice
1/2 kg Boiled potatoes
1/4 cup roasted crushed peanuts
2-3 green chillies finely chopped
1 onion chopped
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp amchur powder/Lemon juice
2 tsp Coriander sprigs finely chopped
500 gm oil
1 tsp salt or as per your taste
For slurry : 2 tbsp maida or corn flour
1/4 tsp salt
Soak rice for 4-5 hours. Drain water. Grind coarsely. Add salt to taste. Keep it aside.
Add all ingredients of slurry & make a fine batter. Keep it aside.
Peel off potatoes & mash them. Add chopped onions, green chillies and all seasonings. Mix well.
Add peanuts & coriander Leaves. Mix well.
Make big lemon size balls.
Now dip these potato balls in slurry.
Roll it coarsely grinded rice. Press rice with hands & make pops.
Heat oil in a Kadhai. Slide rice pops one by one in hot oil. Deep fry them over medium flame until golden brown.
Potatoes stuffed rice pops ate ready to serve.
Serve with green chutney & tomato sauce.
