Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cup Sama rice


  • 1 tbsp sabudana


  • 1/2 cup curd


  • 1 tsp Rock salt or as per your taste


  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda


  • For tempering : 1 tsp jeera


  • 1 tsp sesame seeds


  • 8-10 Curry leaves


  • 2 tsp Coriander leaves finely chopped


  • 2-3 green chillies slitted

Directions

  • Soak Sama rice & Sabudana overnight.
  • Drain excess water. Add curd and grind until smooth. Add rock salt. Mix well. Keep rest for 3-4 hours.
  • Add baking soda & 1 tsp oil. Mix well.
  • Boil water in a dhokla maker. Grease plate with oil. Pour 1/2 Inch layer of dhokla. Steam it for 10 - 15 minutes.
  • Once done. Heat pan. Add oil. Add Jeera, curry leaves, green chillies & sesame seeds. Saute it.
  • Pour this tampering over dhokla. Cut into pieces. Serve hot with satvik green chutney.
