In a bowl add all ingredients mentioned in gatta.
add water and knead it into tight dough.
Roll it into a cylindrical shape.
Now cut 3 inches long pieces from roll .
Heat water in a pan and add gatta boil it for 10 minutes on high flame.
When gatta floats on water it means cooked perfectly.
now strain the water from cooked gatta.
Cut boiled gatta into small pieces.
Ingredients for coconut biryani -
In a wok add ghee heat it on medium flame add mustard seeds.
when mustard seeds starts crackle then add bayleaf, curry leaves, clove.
Now add dry red chillies, cardamom and black pepper.
now add boiled gatta and saute it for 1 minute.
now add grated one cup fresh coconut mix it very well.
now add salt and mix well
Add milk.
now add boiled rice and mix slightly.
In last add chopped green coriander leaves.
cover with lid and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Now our coconut gatta biryani is ready to serve with any dip whichever you like.
