Ingredients

  • Poha (flat beaten rice)-1-cup


  • Potato-1no


  • Mustard seed-1tsp


  • Groundnuts-1tbsp


  • Turmeric-1tsp


  • Green chilli and garlic paste-1tsp


  • Chopped green chillies -1nos


  • Chopped corriander leaves-1/2cup


  • Curry leaves-1tbsp


  • Sugar-2tbsp


  • Lemon juice- 1tbsp


  • Salt -1tsp


  • Pomogranate seeds-1tbsp ( optional)


  • Besan sev - 2tbsp(optional)

Directions

  • Wash and drain poha in a seive
  • Take a pan,put on a flame. Add oil in the pan, now add mustard seed to it. Let it crackle . When it starts crackling,add curry leaves, groundnuts, chilli -garlic paste and saute it till raw smell of chilli-garlic is gone.
  • Then add chopped potatoes and chillies to it
  • Add salt and mix it nicely
  • Cover and cook till the potatoes are cooled nicely , Add some water if needed to cook potatoes
  • After potatoes is cooked add poha ,sugar and lemon juice ,mix it well . Taste and adjust seasoning to it if needed
  • Garnish it with corriander leaves,pomogranate seeds and besan sev
  • Serve hot with breakfast or evening snacks
