Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • for spinach 1 kg spinach boiled and chopped


  • 3 onion finely chopped


  • 50 gm ghee


  • 3 green chillies finely chopped


  • 10 gm salt


  • 4 tsp red chilli powder


  • 5 tsp garam masala


  • 4 bay leaves


  • 3 black cardamom


  • 4 tsp coriander powder


  • For paneer 1 kg cottage cheese( paneer)


  • 6 tomatoes finely chopped


  • 10 clove of garlic finely chopped


  • 100 gm freh cream


  • 1 tsp dry fenugreek leaves


  • 1/4 tsp black pepper pwd


  • 5 black pepper corns


  • 4 cloves


  • 2 green cardemom


  • 4 cup soked rice


  • 1 tsp red colour


  • 2 onion sliced

Directions

  • Take a clean bowl . Pour fresh cream , black pepper pwd and garam masala. Mix it well nd keep it in refrigerator
  • Take a pan add ghee . Then add bay leave , black cardemom nd cook for 1/2 min. Then add chopped onions and cook till its colour change t golden brown
  • Then add chopped green chillies along with chopped boiled spinach. Now add salt , red chilli powder , coriander pwd nd garan masaland stir contoniously till water evaporates and spinach is cook.
  • Note: it take around 5_10 min to cook
  • Keep aside for cooling
  • Now take another pan add ghee then add chopped garlic and cook till colour in changed to light brown
  • Now add chopped tomatoes and cook till they r properly cooked nd leave oil
  • Now add salt , red chilli powder, coriander powder , garam masala and red colour and finely cube cut cottage cheese and cook for 2 min . Now add dry fenugreek leaves and switch off tbe gas and add 2 tsp of fresh cream. Mix it properly and keep aside
  • Now take heavy bottom utensil add ghee and whole spices and sliced onion and cashew nut
  • Cook it for 4 _5 min
  • Add salt and soaked rice then add water according t rice and cook it
  • Take a borocel bowl apply cream which we kept in refrigerator properly all over the bowl then put rice in it. Tap it so tgat they are evenly spread in the bowl. Now poar slowly cream all over the rice evenly with th help of spoon and pinch of garam masala on the rice
  • Now spread layer of paneer on it and spread it evenly on it.
  • Then a thin layer of rice . Then as we did earlier. Cream aand garam masala on it
  • Then add the layer of spinach and spread it evenly
  • Now at the top cover it with thick layer of rice on it . Then pour remaning cream all over the rice and sprinkle garam masalao the top
  • Cover it with alluminium foil and bake it in owen at 180° for 15 _20 min
  • Serve hot with any raita or plain curd
