  • 1) 1 Chicken (marinate for 5hrs in tikka masala o just apply ginger, garlic, salt n yogurt n grill it cover in foil n kip aside) 2) 1/2 kg Onions (mek golden crispy birista) 3) 1/2 kg Tomatoes 4) 2 tbsp Tomato puree 5) 1/2 cup Dahi 6) 1 tsp Chilli powder 7) 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder 😎 Salt 9) 1 tbsp Garam masala 10) Few whole Garam masala (cardamon, cinnamon, tej patta, cloves n black peppercorns) 10) 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste 11) 1 Capsicum n 1 Carrot (grated) Rice: 1) 1/2 kg o 3 cups Basmati long grains Rice 2) Salt 3) few Whole garam masala (cardamon, cinnamon n black peppercorns) 4) 1/2 tsp Jeera (cummin seeds) 5) few Saffron strands 6) 1/2 Lemon juice 7) 3 tbsp Ghee 😎 pinch of Kesar color 9) 1 tsp grated Lemon rind 10) 6-7 Almonds n 10 Cashewnuts 11) 2 tbsp Zereksh

Directions

  • Masala: ....Take a pot put 3 tbsp oil wich u fried birista wid keep on flame n add whole garam masala let it splutter add tomatoes n cook on med flame til its soft n paste formed, add ol spices, ginger garlic n dahi mix well n cook on low o med flame... add birista, capsicum, carrot n tomato puree (n kip high flame if its watery) wen dried up a bit simmer if u r not mixing wid rice if mixing with rice do not simmer keep aside will simmer with rice.... Rice: .... keep a pot on flame with 6 cups of water, add whole garam masala n let boil wen bubbling add salt, rice n jeera cook til olmost done.... Kip ready a strainer beneath a pot, pour ol rice wid water on it n let ol water get strained out.... In de same pot wich u boiled rice put hlf of de rice put 1 tbsp ghee n 1 tbsp used oil of birista if remaining mix well add saffron, lemon juice mix in kesar color n mix well wid rice... Fry de almonds, cashewnuts n zereksh den pour In Masala pot pour white rice add ghee 1 tbsp n stir slightly n spread rice evenly, sprinkle remaining birista den spread coloured rice n ghee, tek baking paper o foil paper cut size of pot, n kip de entyre pot to simmer kip sumthing heavy on top so no smoke escapes... if using charcoal can keep few charcoal on top n leave very few in de charcoal stove... after 20mins u wil gt nice aroma of rice, chek if smoke kums out as u open its done... In a platter put rice with masala then lay grilled chicken serve wid shoorbah chutney n kachoomer...
