Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 bowls basmathi rice


  • 1 bowls peas


  • 1 bowls tomato puree


  • 1 tbsp salt


  • 1 tsp garam masala


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1 nos bay leaf


  • 1 nos big cardamom crushed


  • 1 tbsp ghee


  • 1 tsp jeera

Directions

  • Take 1 bowl rice and wash it.
  • Take 1 bowl peas and wash this too.
  • Now heat the pressure cooker and put ghee in it.
  • Now add jeera, bay leaf and cardamom
  • After that add tomato pure to it.
  • Saute it for few minutes so that the puree is cooked and turns its color.
  • Now put all the ingredient in it including rice and peas.
  • Saute it and add double water of rice.
  • Cover it with the lid.
  • Give 1 whistle to it.
  • After that open the lid and garnish this red color biryani with chopped corriander leaves.
  • Serve it with raita or plain curd
