Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 3 nos tomato


  • 4 nos dry red chilli


  • 2 nos onion


  • 1 tsp ginger


  • 1 nos garlic


  • 3 nos green chilli


  • 2 tbsp sesame oil


  • 1 pinch jaggery or sugar


  • 1 pinch salt

Directions

  • Heat oil and roast chilli. Then keep it aside
  • In the same oil, add onion ginger, garlic, salt, green chilli and curry leaves. Saute till onion becomes light brown
  • Ads tomato pieces and close the kadai to cook well
  • When cooked well, open the kadai and roast well
  • Allow to cool in a jar add this mix along with roasted chilly and jaggery or sugar
  • Grind to a fine paste. Adjust salt
  • Yummt tomato chutney is ready
