Gobi Fried Rice | Cauliflower Fried Rice|ഗോബി ഫ്രൈഡ് റൈസ്

Description

Everyone likes fried cauliflower. Here's the recipe of fried gobi rice. It is so yummy. Enjoy with salad.

Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • Water - 5 cup


  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon or to taste


  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon


  • Cauliflower - 200 grams


  • All purpose flour / Maida - 4 tablespoon


  • Corn flour - 4 tablespoon


  • Kashmiri chilly powder - 1/2 teaspoon


  • Red food color - 2 drops (optional)


  • Sunflower oil - 1/4 cup or for frying


  • Basmati Rice - 1 cup


  • Garlic - 1 teaspoon


  • Carrot - 2 tablespoon


  • Cabbage - 2 tablespoon


  • Capsicum - 2 tablespoon


  • Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon


  • Spring onion - 2 tablespoon

Directions

  • Boil water . Add turmeric powder and salt and cauliflower and half cook.
  • Drain water and keep cauliflower aside
  • Make batter by mixing corn flour, all purpose flour, kashmiri chilly powder, red food color and salt.
  • Marinate cauliflower in this batter
  • Fry cauliflower pieces in sunflower oil.
  • Cook rice and keep it aside
  • Heat oil in a pan and add oil
  • Add garlic, carrot , cabbage, capsicum, pepper and salt
  • Add fried cauliflower
  • Add rice and mix well
  • Garnish with spring onion
