Serves : 4
  • 1 Large orange juice

  • 1 tablespoon full fine sugar

  • 1/2 tablespoon gelatin or equal measure of agar-agar


  • Pour the orange juice in a heavy bottom saucepan and add the sugar in it
  • Stir and mix on Low heat until the sugar dissolves completely (do not bring to a boil)
  • Add the gelatin once sugar has dissolved
  • Mix for a minute and take off heat immediately (if using agar agar, make sure it’s completely dissolved)
  • Transfer the mixture into desired moulds to be used for setting the jelly
  • Let cool completely
  • Refrigerate for 4-6 hours or till the Jelly is set completely
  • Serve chilled and enjoy!! It’s a good alternative to ice creams with less sugar
