Spinach 150 g
Soya chunks 50g
Basmati Rice 1 cup
Green chilies 4-5
Ginger 1 inch
Garlic 7-8 cloves
Onion 1 chopped
Syracuse 1 2 teaspoon
Clove 5-6
Cinnamon stick 1 inch
Curd 1/4 cup
Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
Apple Cider Vinegar 1 tablespoon
Honey 1 tablespoon
Chilly flakes 1 teaspoon
Salt 1 teaspoon
Vegetable oil 2 tablespoon
Directions
Cook the soya chunks in boiling hot water with some salt. Wash the chunks and squeeze the water out.
Marinate the soya chunks with soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, Syracuse spice, crushed garlic, honey, ginger, chilly flakes and salt for half an hour.
Clean and chop the spinach leaves. Grind them with ginger, garlic and green chilies to a fine paste
Take vegetable oil in a pressure cooker, add clove and cinnamon sticks.
Once the fragrance starts coming add chopped onions.
When the onion turns translucent add the marinated soya chunks and saute for 2-3 minutes.
Add curd, spinach and Syracuse spice and saute everything for 2-3 minutes.
Add rice and water and pressure cook for 2 whistle blows.
Serve hot with raita and salad.
