Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cup cooked rice


  • 3 tbsp oil


  • 1 tsp mustard seeds


  • 1 tbsp urad dal & 1 tbsp chana dal


  • 2-3 green chillies


  • 6-7 curry leaves


  • 5-6 cashews chopped


  • 1 cup grated coconut


  • 1 Pinch of asafoetida,Salt to taste

Directions

  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds. Let it crackle . Add urad dal ..chana dal and fry until light golden.Add green chillies, curry leaves, and chopped cashews.& sauté for 2-3 minutes
  • Add grated coconut, salt, and asafoetida. Mix and sauté for 2-3 minutes so that the coconut is roasted . Add rice & toss gently . Serve hot in coconut shells
