Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • 1/2 cup maida


  • 1/2 cup sugar


  • 4 nos eggs


  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence


  • 1 tbsp milk powder


  • 1 tsp coco powder


  • 2-3 drops of red colour


  • 1 cup whipped cream


  • 1/2 tsp baking powder


  • 10 - 15 inch baking dish

Directions

  • Mix milk powder, baking powder with maida and sieve it.
  • Mix sugar with egg yolk and beat to mix well.
  • Beat egg white separately and make fluffy.
  • Add beaten egg white in the yolk mixture.
  • Now add Maida in to egg mixture.
  • Take two tbsp two tbsp of cake mixture in two separate bowl. Put coco powder in one bowl and red colour in another bowl. Mix properly and pour in the icing bag.
  • Line the butter in the baking dish. First design with coco powder batter and put baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 1 minute. Take out the dish from the oven and fill the coco powder design with pink batter. Again bake for 1 minute.
  • Now pour the cake batter on the designed evenly and bake it for 12 minutes at 180 degree Celsius.
  • Now put the cake on a kitchen towel and roll it . Keep for cake to be cool.
  • After cool, open the cake roll and remove the butter paper. Spread whipped cream on the inner side of the cake and again roll it . Keep the cake in the fridge for set.
  • Slice the safari swiss roll and serve. Kids are very happy to see this swiss roll.
