Ingredients

Serves 2

  • Broccoli florets - 1 cup

  • Rice - 11/2 cup

  • Onion - finely chopped, 1/2 cup

  • Garlic - chopped, 1 teaspoon

  • Black Pepper Powder - 1 teaspoon

  • Peppercorn - 5 to 6

  • Salt - 1 teaspoon (as per taste)

  • Vinegar - 1 tablespoon

  • Refined oil - 2 tablespoon

Directions

    Wash and soak the rice for 20 minutes .

    Drain the water and cook the rice till 80% done.

  • 03

    Spread the rice in big plates and allow it to cool.

    In the mean time, blanch the broccoli florets and keep aside.

    Heat oil in a pan and add peppercorns in oil.

    Next add chopped garlic, once they are little brown add chopped onions and broccoli florets. Fry them in high heat.

    Once the onions are translucent and broccoli florets are cooked add the rice and mix well.

    Add salt to taste and black pepper powder. Give a good stir.

    Finally add vinegar and toss again.

    Serve hot.
