Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • Broccoli florets - 1 cup


  • Rice - 11/2 cup


  • Onion - finely chopped, 1/2 cup


  • Garlic - chopped, 1 teaspoon


  • Black Pepper Powder - 1 teaspoon


  • Peppercorn - 5 to 6


  • Salt - 1 teaspoon (as per taste)


  • Vinegar - 1 tablespoon


  • Refined oil - 2 tablespoon

Directions

  • Wash and soak the rice for 20 minutes .
  • Drain the water and cook the rice till 80% done.
  • Spread the rice in big plates and allow it to cool.
  • In the mean time, blanch the broccoli florets and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add peppercorns in oil.
  • Next add chopped garlic, once they are little brown add chopped onions and broccoli florets. Fry them in high heat.
  • Once the onions are translucent and broccoli florets are cooked add the rice and mix well.
  • Add salt to taste and black pepper powder. Give a good stir.
  • Finally add vinegar and toss again.
  • Serve hot.
