Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 250 gms makaai poha /unprocessed cornflakes


  • 50 gms groundnut


  • 20 gms chutney dhall/ fried gram


  • 20-25 curry leaves


  • 1-2 tsp powdered sugar


  • 2-3 tsp Red chilli powder


  • 1-2 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp haldi powder/ turmeric


  • 250 gms oil to fry

Directions

  • Heat the oil in a deep frying pan
  • fry the cornflakes in small batches
  • take care not to burn the cornflakes
  • drain and keep in a large wide container
  • fry the peanuts until crisp
  • fry the fried gram / chutney dhall till crisp
  • fry the curry leaves till crispy
  • mix all the above items well
  • add salt ,sugar , chilli & haldi
  • toss it and mix well . adjust spices if need be
  • store in an airtight container. enjoy !
