Mushrooms And Baby Corn Biryani

Ingredients

  • 2 cup Basmati rice 1 onion 1 carrot 5-6 baby corn 3-4 chopped mushrooms 1 green chilli 1 tsp biryani masala 1/2 tsp cumin seeds Pinch of heeng Salt to taste 1 bay leaf 2 green cardamom 6-7 black pepper corn 1 piece of cinnamon 1 star anise 2 cloves 2 tsp ghee 2.5 cup water

Directions

  • 1. Wash 2-3 times rice properly, soaked rice for 10-12 min. 2. After 10-12 min, Drain out water of soaked rice 3. Heat a pressure cooker, Add ghee, when ghee gets hot , add cumin seeds and all whole Spices let them saute for a while. 4. Add green chilli, onion saute it until it gets light golden brown in colour. 5. Add carrot and baby corn saute it for 1-2 min. 6. Add mushrooms,mix it well. 7. Add soaked rice ( without water) mix it well with all vegetables and spices, saute it for 2- 3 min. 8 Now add 2.5 cup of water ( 2 cup rice= 2.5 cup water) . 9. Add salt and biryani masala. Mix it well. 10. Do not cover the lid of the pressure cooker untill water gets little boil. 11. When water gets little boil close the lid of the pressure cooker. Take 2 whistle on High flame. 12. Let the pressure cooker cool completely. Open it and serve it hot. 13. Serve Biryani with Biryani Raita
