Ingredients

Serves 4

  • cooked basmati rice 2 1/2 cup

  • prawn 1 cup

  • butter 40 gm

  • fried onion 1/2 cup

  • salt 1 teaspoon

  • crushed paper 1 teaspoon

  • ginger garlic paste 1/2 teaspoon

  • chopped coriander 1/2 cup

  • chopped Chillies 1 tablespoon

  • lemon juice 1 tbsp

  • Egg 2 numbers

  • ingredients for Malai gravy ... prawns 1 cup

  • coconut milk 2 cups

  • ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon

  • onion paste 1/4 cup

  • cardamom 6-7 number

  • clove 5 number

  • cinnamon 2 number

  • red chilli 2 number

  • salt 1 teaspoon or as per taste

  • turmeric powder 1 teaspoon

  • chili powder 1 teaspoon

  • chopped tomatoes 1 cup

  • oil .1/4 cup

Directions

    Half cook the rice.

    seasoning the rice with butter, crushed paper, salt and chopped coriander . Add beaten egg with rice,( for binding)

    finely chopped the prawns, add fried onions crushed paper , salt chopped Chilli, lemon juice, butter and ginger garlic paste, mix properly.

    make a rice bed by spreading uniformly on Aluminium foil , spread prawns stuffing on it evenly , hold the Aluminium foil , Roll It tightly and seal both the ends. steam for 10 minutes and allowed to cool down.

    for Malai gravy

    Saute prawns in oil and keep aside

    Addnall the dry spices in the oil and wait for splatter.

    add onion paste and fry till Golden yellow colour. mix ginger garlic paste and cook till raw smell is disappears.

    add haldi powder Chilli paste Chopped tomato, salt , and cook for another 2 minutes

    add coconut milk and boil for few minutes

    strain the gravy and reheat it. Add prawn and boil for another 2 to 3 minutes. Prawn malai gravy is ready.

    finishing and serving the dish.

    remove the rice roll from Aluminium foil

  • 14

    Heat little butter and garlic pod in tawa.

    Coat rice prawn rolls with this mixture and add finely chopped coriander leaves

    slice the rice prawn rolls

  • 17

    on a serving plate, place Malai gravy (with prawns) and sliced prawns Rice rolls.

    Dish is ready to serve.
