Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 13/4 cups minced meat


  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs


  • 1/3 cup chopped parsley


  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan


  • 1 egg


  • 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes


  • 2 garlic cloves minced


  • 2 teaspoon oregano


  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


  • 2-3 tbsp olive oil


  • 1/2 cup minced onion


  • 3 cups Tomatoes puree


  • 2 teaspoon tomato chilli sauce


  • 1 bay leaf


  • 2 teaspoon olive oil


  • 1 teaspoon salt or as per taste


  • 2 tbsp oregano parsley and grated cheese to garnish


  • 13/4 cup cooked spaghetti as per package instructions

Directions

  • For meatballs
  • In a bowl, add minced meat, breadcrumbs, parmesan salt, beaten egg, red chilli flakes, oregano and parsley and mix well
  • Knead the mixture well together and make equal size balls
  • Shallow fry the meatballs in olive oil until cooked from all sides. keep it aside
  • For Spaghetti sauce
  • In saucepan, heat 2 teaspoon olive oil
  • Add onions and saute until translucent
  • Add bay leaf, tomatoes Puree and salt. Mix well
  • Add tomato sauce. Simmer and cook until sauce starts thickening
  • Add meatballs to sauce. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes
  • In serving plate, add cooked spaghetti. Top with meatballs in sauce. Garnish with oregano parsley and grated cheese. Serve warm
