Ingredients

Serves 10

  • 1 kg Idli batter

  • 50 ml water

  • 1 tbsp oil to grease the moulds

Directions

  • 01

    Add water to the vessel and bring it to a boil

  • 02

    Grease the idli moulds and pour the batter to 3/4th level of the mould

  • 03

    Place the mould in the steamer and steam them for 10 mins on medium heat

  • 04

    Allow it to rest for a min

  • 05

    Serve with chutney or sambar
