Ingredients

Serves 5

  • 13/4 cups Maida/ Wheat flour

  • 1 teaspoon yeast

  • 1 egg

  • 1/4 cup 2 tbsp warm milk

  • 3 tbsp sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 2.5 tbsp soft butter

  • 2 tbsp warm water

  • 3-4 tbsp soft butter additional for greasing

  • 2 tbsp melted butter for topping

Directions

    Add flour in a bowl and make 3 wells. Add sugar, salt and yeast respectively. Gently mix

  • 02

    Add beaten egf, 2.5 tbsp soft butter, 1/4 cup milk, 2 tbsp warm water. Knead soft dough

  • 03

    Cover and rest in warm place for 2 hours

  • 04

    Deflate dough gently and knead for 4-5 minutes

    Divide dough into 2 equal portions

  • 06

    Roll out the dough into big circle on dusted surface. Add 2-3 tbsp soft butter on each. spread evenly. Cut the circles into equal 8-16 triangle

    Fold triangle from wider tip towards centre. Curve the edges. place the tip towards bottom place rolls on greased baking sheet

    Allow to rest for 20 minutes

  • 09

    Brush melted butter on top of rolls

  • 10

    Bake for 18-20 minutes in preheated oven at 180 deg until puffed up and golden brown

  • 11

    Brush little melted butter on top of rolls while its still warm. Serve
