Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Water - 3 bowl


  • Sugar - 1 bowl


  • Rice powder - 500 gm


  • Chena - (From 1/2 ltr milk)


  • Oil - 300 ml


  • Salt - 1/2 tsp / salt to taste

Directions

  • In a kadhai pour water and switch on the flame. Add 1/2 tsp salt. After 2 min add sugar.
  • When the sugar will get mixed with the water properly, after that on medium flame keep boiling the sugar syrup for 2 min.
  • Add 400 gm rice powder in the sugar syrup gradually and stir it with a belan properly.Make a soft dough. Put off the gas and cover the kadhai with a lid.
  • Mash the chena properly with 1 tsp sugar.
  • Now take another kadhai, put oil in it. After that make small balls out of the dough. Flatten the balls with the help of belan (about the size of puri). Sprinkle some rice powder on both sides. Similarly make the other one.
  • Now spread 1 tbsp chena on one of the flattened ball and put the other flattened ball over it. Seal its sides with your fingers.
  • When the oil heats up put the kakra pitha in the oil. When it turns slightly golden from both sides take it out. Similarly make the rest of the kakra pithas.
