Ingredients

  • Spinach - 1 cup


  • Pudina (chopped) - 1 tbsp


  • Corriander leaves (chopped) - 1 tbsp


  • Green chillies - 2


  • Onion (chopped) - 1


  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp


  • Chilly powder - 1 tsp


  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp


  • Salt - 1 tsp


  • Refined oil/ghee - 1 tbsp


  • Cooked rice - 1 cup

Directions

  • Blanch the spinach leaves and drain them.Now make a paste of it with pudina, coriander leaves and green chillies. Keep aside.
  • Heat a kadhai with ghee/refined oil.
  • Then add the chopped onion and saute till golden brown.
  • Now add the ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell is gone.Then add the powdered masalas, salt and stir.
  • After a few minutes, then add the spinach paste and saute till the masala leaves oil.Then add the cooked rice and mix. Check for salt and serve.
