First in a pan dry roast rava for about 5-6 minutes In a low flame . Let it cool down .
Now in a big bowl take all dry ingredients as roasted rava , jaggery powder ,cardamom powder , and dry coconut powder . Mix all ingredients well.
Now take grated cucumber and add this into dry ingredients . Add chopped almonds too and mix well.Don't add any milk or liquid . Cucumber water is sufficient for batter . Batter should not be very thin.
Now grease the plate or tin with clarified butter and pour batter on it . Steam it for about 15-20 minutes . Turn off the burner and let it cool down .
Tavsali is ready to serve .Cut into small pieces and garnish with chopped almonds .
