CHICKEN GRAVY WITH TANDOORI MASALA

Ingredients

Serves 5

  • 500 gms chicken

  • 4 large tomato

  • 2 small onion

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste

  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder

  • 2 tablespoon thick curd

  • 1 handful coriander leaves

  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

  • 3 tablespoon oil

  • 2 cardamom

  • 2 cloves

  • 1 cinnamon

  • 1 bay leaf

  • 1 teaspoon kasuri methi

  • 2 teaspoon BON Tandoori masala powder

Directions

    Wet grind the tomato, onion, cumin, coriander leaves , ginger garlic paste, curd, chilli turmeric powder. Do not add water.

    Heat oil in pressure cooker and add cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaf and chicken. Stir for a minute.

    Add ground masala, salt to taste, 150 ml water and pressure cook for 5-6 whistles

  • 04

    Once the pressure is released, add tandoori masala powder, kasuri methi and lemon juice . Mix well . Simmer for 5 minutes on low flame.

    Serve with rice, roti, appams, paratas, idiappams ,idli, dosas.
