Soak moong dal and almonds seperately for 2-3hours.
Grind it into a crumbled paste, not perfectly smooth.
Now heat a cup of ghee in a pan.
Add wheat flour and saute for a minute.
Add moong dal and almonds paste to it and cook, it becomes very sticky that is why we add wheat flour as it helps preventing it from being sticky.
It takes almost 30 minutes for the dal to cook into a nice golden colour.
Now in another pan dissolve sugar and water,don't make chasni, just cook for 2-3 minute or until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Add it to the cooked dal mixture and cook until it get halwa consistency.
Garnish with some chopped dry fruits and dried rose petals and serve.
