CABBAGE ROLLS IN ARRABBIATA SAUCE

Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 3 tablespoons butter


  • 2 tablespoons chopped spring onions


  • 2 tablespoons chopped carrots


  • 2 tablespoons chopped cabbage


  • 1 tablespoons chopped green chilli


  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder


  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder


  • 1 teaspoon sugar


  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder


  • 2 boiled and smashed potato


  • 6 no cabbage leaves


  • 6 large tomato


  • 1 large onion diced


  • 1" ginger


  • 6 no clove garlic


  • 5 no whole red chilli

Directions

  • Heat 1 tablespoons butter in a deep pan , add the veggies and chilli and salt and saute for couple of minutes .
  • Then add the spices powder and mix well . Add the smashed potato and mix all the ingredients together then sprinkle garam masala powder and switch off the flame .
  • Boil a vesselful of water , add a pinch of salt and immerse cabbage leaves in it for 5 minutes .
  • Drain thoroughly and keep aside .
  • Place a cabbage leaf on a clean , dry surface .
  • Now place a portion of the stuffing at one end of the leaf and roll it and fold it up tightly .
  • Repeat step and make all the rolls .
  • Now melt 1 tablespoons butter in a pan and set all the cabbage rolls and grill for both sides .
  • Now make Arrabbiata Sauce
  • Blanch tomato , ginger , onion , garlic and chillies for few minutes .
  • In a grinder make a smooth paste in it .
  • Heat 1 tablespoons butter in a medium heat add the paste in it . Cook for 8 minutes then add salt and sugar cook another few minutes switch off the flame
  • Platting .....
  • Spread 2 tablespoons of arrabbiata sauce in a cabbage roll in it and serve immediately .
