  • Beans-12-15

  • Potato boiled-2 large

  • Onions -2 medium

  • Tomato-1 large

  • Ginger-Garlic-green chilli paste -2tbsp

  • Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder -1tbsp

  • Red Chilli Powder -1/2tbsp

  • Turmeric Powder -1tbsp

  • Coriander Powder -1tbsp

  • Garam Masala Powder -1/2tbsp

  • Cumin Seeds -1tbsp

  • Salt to taste

  • Cooking Oil

    Boil the potatoes for 2-3 whistle in a pressure cooker using sufficient water. Then cool it, peel it and cut it into small cubes.

    Cut the both ends of the beans and remove it and then cut it into 4-5 pieces. Slice the onions, chop the tomato. Grind 1 inch ginger, 5-6 cloves of garlic and 4 green chillies in a mixer grinder by using some water.

    Heat oil in a kadhai, add beans into it, stir fry it for 5-7 minutes on medium flame and then take it out.

    Heat some more oil in the same kadhai, add cumin seeds into it, saute it and then add sliced onions into it, cook it till the onions become little golden brown and then add ginger-garlic-green chilli paste into it, saute it for 2 minutes.

    Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt into it. Cook it well and then add chopped tomatoes into it. Cook it till the tomatoes become little mussy and oil separates around the masalas.

    Then add fried beans, boiled potato cubes and garam masala powder into it, mix it well and then add 2 cups of water into it, mix it and give it a boil and then lower the flame and cook it for 5 minutes on low flame by covering it with a lid and then switch off the flame and serve it.
