Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cup grated bottleguard (lauki)


  • 2 tablespoons ragi flour


  • 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour


  • 2 tablespoons gram flour


  • 1 teaspoon baking soda


  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder


  • 2 green chillies


  • 1 teaspoon sugar


  • 1/4 teaspoon asoefodia


  • 1 teaspoon red pepper powder


  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • 1 inch ginger


  • 2 teaspoons oil


  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds


  • 1 teaspoon curry leaves


  • 1 teaspoon white sesame seeds


  • 1/2 cup curd


  • 1 cup Water

Directions

  • Mix all 3flours in a pot
  • Mix curd in it
  • Add water to make a thick batter
  • Add grated bottleguard in it
  • Add salt , asoefodia ,pepper powder in it
  • Add chopped green chillies and ginger
  • Add baking soda
  • Mix well
  • Now make a tadka by heating oil and adding mustard seeds,curry leaves and seasme seeds in it
  • Add this tadka in the batter
  • Now Grease the moulds and pour the batter in them
  • Steam in steamer for 15 minutes
  • Now remove from moulds
  • Serve with sauce or any dip of your choice
