Description

Chicken marinated in spices and thick  buttermilk,  coated with egg to roll on the plain crushed corn flakes and deep fried to golden brown,  can be eaten as a starter or as a snack. Hmm while it's crunchy outside, it's too soft and juicy inside. Serve it hot with spicy tomato sauce. Stands perfect for a weekend evening.

Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 500 gms chicken large pieces


  • 1 teaspoon chilly powder


  • 1/4 teaspoon gram masala powder


  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder


  • 1/4 teaspoon coriander powder


  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper powder


  • 2 pinch red food colour


  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste


  • 3 tablespoon curd


  • Salt 2 taste


  • 50 ml water


  • Oil 2 deep fry


  • 2 beaten eggs


  • 2 tablespoon or more crushed plain cornflakes

Directions

  • Marinate chicken, chilly powder, red food colour, turmeric powder, pepper powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder ,ginger garlic paste, curd, salt to taste and water. Mix well and let it rest for 60 mins or more.
  • Heat oil in a non stick pan to deep fry the chicken
  • Beat eggs and pour it over the marinated chicken. Mix well.
  • In a plate, spread plain corn flakes and crush them coarsely with hands.
  • Take a marinated chicken piece, roll it over the cornflakes and deep fry the chicken. Repeat the same with all the chicken pieces.
  • Reduce the flame to medium and fry the chicken till it turns golden brown.
  • Serve hot with sweet and spicy tomato sauce.
