Description

Chicken Cutlets with stuffed method, that are crisp from outside and soft and juicy from inside. A perfect snack to enjoy with the family in the evening. Don't forget to serve it hot with some sweet and spicy tomato sauce.

Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 6 Boiled and smashed potatos


  • 200 gms chicken mince


  • 2 chopped green chillies


  • 4 chopped onions


  • 2 tablespoon oil


  • 1/4 teaspoon gram masala powder


  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds


  • 1 tablespoon rice flour


  • 1 tablespoon besan powder or chickpea flour


  • Oil to shallow fry and 1 tbsp to grease hands


  • 1 tablespoon rice flour to dust the cutlets

Directions

  • Filling : In a pan, add 2 tablespoon oil, add chopped green chillies, chopped onions and saute till the onions are cooked
  • Add garam masala powder and turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and cumin seeds. Saute well.
  • Add minced chicken ,salt to taste and mix well. Fry till the chicken is cooked and all the moisture has absorbed. Spread it out on a plate to cool.
  • In a bowl add the boiled and smashed potatoes . Add besan powder and rice flour. Mix well.
  • Grease a plate and hands with oil.
  • Take a hand full of the potato dough, give it a good roll and flatten it on ur palm. Add a tspfull of the filling and seal the edges carefully . Bring it to a round shape and flatten it softly. Place it on the greased plate. Repeat the procedure for the rest of the mixture.
  • Heat a pan with oil to shallow fry the cutlets.
  • In a plate spread a tablespoon of rice flour and just tap the cutlets on the flour and add to the pan to shallow fry. Keep flipping carefully to get a crisp golden colour on both the sides.
  • Serve it hot with tomatao sauce and enjoy the snack on a rainy day
