Ingredients

Serves 5

  • 1bowl Carrot (grated)

  • 1/2 bowl beetroot (grated)

  • 2onion chopped

  • 1 tomato chopped

  • 1/2 spoon Chaat masala

  • 1bowl Coriander Pudhina (leaves chopped/powder)

  • 1-2bowl curd

  • 2bowl semolina (suji)

  • 1/2 tsp black salt

  • 1/2 tsp white salt

  • 2-3 green chilli chopped

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2bowl Almond Cashew Pista Kishmish(chopped)

  • 1/2 Water(if needed)

  • 1small bowl Desi ghee (for gressing)

Directions

    Mix well all the Ingredients except Ghee to make a dough (shouldn’t be too hard).

    Now keep the batter aside for 30 minutes to rest.

    Heat the Appe mould on a medium flame and grease it using ghee.

    Drop 4-5 dry fruits in each holes.

    Pour a spoonful of batter in each mould, cover the pan and let it cook.

    Cook till the outer surface becomes light brown and then turn appe upside down using a fork so as to cook them from the other side as well.

    Repeat with the remaining batter to make more appes.

  • 08

    Serve immediately with green chutney. Enjoy it!
