Ingredients

  • 1cup govinda bhog rice


  • 1cup moong daal


  • 1/2cup chana daal


  • 1tsp greated ginger


  • 1/2tsp ginger paste


  • 1tsp cumin powder


  • 1tsp coriander powder


  • 2tsp greated chilli


  • 2tsp turmeric powder


  • 1tsp pachporon


  • 1tbsp oil


  • 2/3 bay leaves


  • 2/3 dry red chilli


  • 2tsp ghee


  • 3/4 pumkin cubed


  • 2/3 potatoes cubed


  • water 6 cup (as required)


  • 1tsp sugar


  • 3tsp Salt (as required)

Directions

  • fristly in a pan fewv roast slowly moong daal till some oc the lrntil turn golden and aromatic.in a another pan pour 9/10 cup of water become hot.
  • Add (washed and sosked) rice and potatoes after 2minute after 2minute add moong daal,pumkin,greated green chillies,salt cooked for 5minutes,add chana daal,turmeric,sugar,ginger paste.
  • After 10 minute rice and daal cooked and become thicky add cumin and corisnder powder.now make kichidi tadka in a kadai or pan heat oil add bay leaves,dry chillies saute and add greated ginger,pachporon saute for few seconds or till the aromatic.
  • Now pour cooked kichidi on the tadkas pan cooked for 1 to 2 minute become thicky tight,at the last add ghee.now Khichidi is ready serve with aloo,begun bhaja.
