Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • For Dough: 2 cups Maida


  • 11/4 teaspoon baking powder


  • 1 teaspoon sugar


  • 3 teaspoon oil


  • 3/4 cup milk, adjust as required


  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


  • For Stuffing:: 1.5 cups grated paneer


  • 1 green chillies finely chopped


  • 1/2 TSP Kashmiri chilli powder


  • 1/2 TSP Ajwain


  • 1/2 TSP garam masala


  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste


  • 2 teaspoon finely chopped coriander leaves


  • 1 teaspoon amchur powder


  • 1 teaspoon salt or as per taste


  • For Garnish: 2-3 tbsp butter


  • 3-4 tbsp chopped coriander leaves


  • 2-3 tbsp kalonji

Directions

  • add Maida salt sugar baking powder in a bowl and mix well
  • Add milk and oil, knead into a smooth dough
  • Coat the dough with one teaspoon oil cover and let it rest for 2 hours
  • in a bowl, add paneer ginger garlic paste spices ajwain, salt green chillies coriander leaves
  • mix everything well and keep it aside
  • Knead dough for 3-4 minutes
  • Divide dough into equal portions.
  • Roll a portion like puri, place paneer stuffing at centre. Cover and seal completely
  • Reverse puri such that folded part is ar bottom
  • Sprinkle little kalonji, coriander leaves on top
  • Again reverse it and roll into roti
  • Apply water on top all over the roti
  • Flip roti on hot tawa. Gently press so that roti sticks to tawa
  • Flip tawa and coom roti directly on flame over medium heat until puffed up and golden brown
  • Gently scrape the kulcha fron bottom
  • Brush butter on top
  • Serve hot with your favourite curry
