Ingredients
Serves 4
Basmati Rice -3 cups
Cinnamon -1
Black Cardamom -1
Green Cardamom -4
Cloves-4
Cumin Seeds -1tbsp
Cashews-2 tbsp
Resins-2-3 tbsp
Bay leaf -2
Sugar -1/2 tbsp
Ghee-2 tbsp
Salt as per taste
Directions
Wash the rice and soak it for 20 minutes and then drain the water from it.
Heat ghee in a pressure cooker, add cumin seeds, cloves, black and green cardamom, cinnamon and bay leaf, saute it and then add cashews and resins into it, saute it for few seconds and then add sugar, soaked rice and salt in it, cook it for 3-4 minutes and then add equal amount of water as that of rice into it.
Cover it with its lid and cook it for 2 whistle on high flame and then switch off the flame. Open the cooker when pressure reduces completely and then serve it.
