Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • For Frying Paneer:


  • 50 gm paneer


  • 1/2 cup corn flour


  • For Gravy:


  • 1 onion sliced


  • 1/2 capsicum sliced


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 3 to 4 green chilly chopped


  • 1 tbsp chilly sauce


  • 1 tsp soya sauce


  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce


  • 2 tbsp honey


  • 1 tsp chilly flakes


  • Salt to taste


  • 2 tbsp corn flour


  • 4 tbsp oil


  • 2 cup water


  • 1/4 tsp sesame seeds

Directions

  • Keep paneer into salty water for 10 minutes. Drain it. And cut into square cubes.
  • Coat each paneer pieces with corn flour.
  • Heat 4 tbsp oil in a pan. Shallow fry paneer from both sides till deep golden color.
  • Take it out on a plate.
  • Now transfer the oil into kadhai.
  • Add in onion. cook till the brown.
  • Add in ginger garlic paste and capsicum and 1/4 cup of water.
  • Cook till capsicum becomes soften.
  • Now add green chilly, tomato sauce, soya sauce, chilly sauce and honey. Mix it well. cook for few minutes.
  • Now mix 2 tbsp corn flour and 1/4 cup water. Add this in a kadhai.
  • Add 1 1/2 cup water and cover it.
  • Cook it for 20 minutes or until it thickens.
  • Sprinkle red chilly flakes and mix it.
  • Now add paneer and mix it. Cover the lid and cook on a low flame for 5 minutes.
  • Honey chilly paneer is ready to dish out. Sprinkle some sesame seeds. And enjoy this with boiled rice.
