Ingredients

  • 1 cup over night soaked yellow moong dal

  • 1 inch ginger piece

  • 2-3 nos green chillies

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 small onion cut lengthwise

  • 1 small green capsicum cut lengthwise

  • 1 tsp black salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper powder

  • 1/4 cup coriander leaves finely chopped

  • 2 tsp baking soda

  • 2 tsp chat masala for sprinkle

  • 1/2 cup oil/ butter for cooking

  • 1 cup cheese grated

    First take soaked moong dal .Wash and drain it properly .

    Now in a grinder ,take moong dal and grind it along with ginger green chillies by using little water nad make fine paste .

    Beat this dal paste with the help of spatula until it becomes fluffy . Add turmeric powder and salt . Mix well .

    Now take nonstick pan and grease with oil .Now in a small bowl take 1 big serving spoon dal batter ,add 1 tsp baking soda and mix it well .Now pour it on a pan and spread it .

    Meanwhile until dal paste cooks from one side take chopped onion , and capsicum..Add black salt and black pepper powder and mix well . put these veggeis on dal paste .Sprinkle chopped corainder too and flip it .

    Add 2 tsp butter and cook from another side . Flip it again .

    Now add grated cheese and cook until cheese starts melting . Moonglet is ready . Sprinkle some chat masala on it . Transfer this into plate and repeat this process with remaining batter . Serve hot with green chutney
