Grate the bottle gourd and leave it aside for 10 minutes so that it leaves all the excess water out.
Then squeeze the lauki and add rest of the ingredients mentioned under "for koftas" together to form a thick batter.
Heat ample amount of oil in a kadhai, drop the batter in the form of dumplings and deep fry the pakodas. Strain and keep aside.
To make the gravy, heat another pan with little oil. Add the chopped onion and saute till golden brown.
Then add the ginger garlic paste and saute further.
Add the chopped tomatoes, saute for few seconds and add all the powdered masalas along with salt.
Once the tomatoes become mushy, add the curd and keep stirring vigorously.
Leave it cook till the masala leaves oil.The add some water,bring upto boil. Add the fried koftas, sprinkle the coriander leaves. Check for seasoning and serve.
