Ingredients

  • Pumkim - 1/4 kg


  • Coconut - 1/2 cup cowpeas - 1/4 cup


  • Small cumin seeds - 1/2 tspoon


  • Garlic - 4 piece


  • Small onion - 5 piece


  • Turmeric powder - 1/2tspoon


  • Chilly powder - 1/4 tspoon


  • Green chilly - 3


  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tblspoon


  • Oil - 3 tblspoon


  • Coconut - 3 tblspoon

Directions

  • In a pressure cooker cook the cowpeas with some salt for 8 minutes.
  • Transfer it to a bowl and then put the chopped pumkin in tge cooker .add some turmeric powder, chilly powder and green chilly.cook it for 5 minutes.
  • In a grinder add coconut , turmeric powder,garlic and onions.grind it well.
  • Add this to the cooked pumkin and cowpeas.Heat it and not allow to boil.
  • In a pan pour some tblspoon , put mustard seeds and red chilly.heat it and pour it to the cooker.
  • In a pan put 1 tblspoon oil.put some coconut and stir it till it turns brown.add it to the dish.
  • decorate with curry leaves .Serve it hot with rice
