Serves 4

  • Cooked Rice -2 cup

  • Soya Chunks -2 cup

  • Onion-1 large

  • Tomato-1

  • Green Chilli -2

  • Dry Red Chilli -1

  • Turmeric Powder -1/4tbsp

  • Red Chilli Powder -1/2 tbsp

  • Coriander Powder -1/2 tbsp

  • Garam Masala Powder -1/2 tbsp

  • Pav Bhaji Masala-1 tbsp

  • Mustard Seeds-1/2 tbsp

  • Cumin Seeds -1/2 tbsp

  • Curry leaves -8-10

  • Salt to taste

  • Cooking Oil

    Heat water in a pan, add soya Chunks into it, give it a boil and then switch off the flame. Soak it in hot water for 5 minutes and then squeeze the water from it and keep it aside. Chop the onion and tomato. Slit the green chillies.

    Heat oil in a pan,add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, dry red chilli and green chilli into it. Saute it and then add chopped onions into it. Saute it till onions become translucent.

    Then add soya chunks into it. Stir fry it for 2 minutes and then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, pav bhaji masala, garam masala and salt into it. Mix it well and cook it for 5 minutes by covering it with a lid.

    Then add chopped tomatoes into it, mix it and cook it till tomatoes become soft and mussy. Then add 4 tbsp of water into it and then add cooked rice into it. Mix it well and saute it for 1 minute and then switch off the flame. Leave it for 2-3 minutes by covering it with its lid and then serve it hot.
