Ingredients

  • Idli rice 1 cup


  • raw rice 1 cup


  • Tuvar Dal 1/2cup


  • chana dal 1/2 cup


  • Moong dal 1/4 cup


  • Red chillies 10


  • Fennel seeds 1 teaspoon


  • Salt 1 teaspoon


  • Asafoetida 1/4 teaspoon


  • Moringa/Murungai leaves 1/2 cup

Directions

  • Soak all the rice, dals,red chillies together in minimal water after washing twice for 2 1/2 hours
  • Add fennel andGrind it to a coarse paste along with the water used for soaking
  • Now add adequate salt,asafoetida,murungai leaves and adequate water to get a dosa batter consistency.
  • Prepare adais (same as dosa preparation) on iron tawa.Flip and cook on both sides
  • Serve hot with brown sugar and butter. Tastes amazing on a rainy day
