Idli rice 1 cup
raw rice 1 cup
Tuvar Dal 1/2cup
chana dal 1/2 cup
Moong dal 1/4 cup
Red chillies 10
Fennel seeds 1 teaspoon
Salt 1 teaspoon
Asafoetida 1/4 teaspoon
Moringa/Murungai leaves 1/2 cup
Directions
Soak all the rice, dals,red chillies together in minimal water after washing twice for 2 1/2 hours
Add fennel andGrind it to a coarse paste along with the water used for soaking
Now add adequate salt,asafoetida,murungai leaves and adequate water to get a dosa batter consistency.
Prepare adais (same as dosa preparation) on iron tawa.Flip and cook on both sides
Serve hot with brown sugar and butter. Tastes amazing on a rainy day
