Ingredients

  • Whole wheat 1 cup


  • Mangalore cucumber 1/4 kg


  • Salt 1 tsp


  • Byadagi chilli 2


  • Jeera 1 tsp


  • Coriander seeds 2 tsp


  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp


  • Buttermilk 1/2 cup


  • Cooking oil 1/4 cup

Directions

  • Wash and soak whole wheat for 4 hours.
  • Drain the water, add all ingredients except cooking oil in mixie jar.
  • Grind smoothly.
  • Transfer the batter into a vessel.
  • Heat an iron tava, grease oil, pour laddle full of batter.
  • Spread evenly, cover and cook for 3 minutes in medium flame.
  • Sprinkle some oil on top, flip and cook for 2 minutes, remove and serve in hot.
