Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 1 cup semolina


  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour


  • 1/4 tsp baking soda


  • Salt 1 tsp


  • Oil 2 tbsp


  • Small lid 1


  • White peas 1 cup


  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp


  • Mango paste 4 tsp


  • Coriander paste 2 tsp


  • Roasted cumin powder 1 tsp


  • Black salt 1 tsp


  • Sugar 1/4 cup


  • Fennel powder 1 tsp

Directions

  • Take semolina,all purpose flour,baking soda salt in a bowl and mix well
  • Add water in small quantities and make dough
  • Cover it with a cloth and keep aside for 20-25 minutes
  • Remove cloth and knead again
  • Divide dough into small portions
  • Make ball shape and place on rolling ball
  • Roll using roller like roti.dont roll it very thin as it will not puff
  • Make small round puris using a lid
  • Remove extra dough and mix with remaining dough
  • Heat oil in deep frying pan over medium flame
  • Fry 4-6 puris at a time
  • Fry them till crisp and light brown in colour
  • Soak white peas overnight
  • Pressure cook it by adding turmeric powder and salt in it
  • Take a big bowl add mango paste coriander paste
  • Add roadted cumin powder black salt salt sugar fennel powder and add about a litre of water in it
  • Now mix nicely with spoon till sugar dissolves in it
  • Delicious pani ready
  • Now enjoy golgappe with peas and pani
