Wo thela,shop etc , asking for kabhi teekha and kabhi meetha and in last Dahi wala Golgappa.As we all know panipuri is a common street snack. Popular in each and every region of India and also liked Internationally. It consists of a round, hollow puri, fried crisp and filled with a mixture of flavored water, tamarind chutney, chili, chaat masala, potato, onion or chickpeas, potatoes etc.

Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • For Puri::::- Semolina 1 cup


  • All Purpose Flour 4 tablespoon


  • Salt 1 teaspoon


  • Baking powder 1/4 teaspoon


  • For Pani::::----Fresh Coriander 1 cup


  • Garlic Cloves 3


  • Green Chilli 1-2


  • Roasted Cumin 1 teaspoon


  • Sea Salt 1/2 teaspoon


  • Hing 1 pinch of


  • Lemon juice 4 tablespoon


  • Water 2-3 cups


  • boondi 2 tbsp


  • For stuffing:: Boil potatoes 4 or Chickpeas (as per your preference)


  • Pani Puri masala 3 tbsp


  • Chat Masala 1 tsp


  • Mithi Chutney::::---Tamarind 1/2 cup


  • Salt 1 tsp


  • Chilly powder 1 tsp


  • saunth 1 teaspoon


  • Sugar/ Jaggery 1 cup

Directions

  • For puri mix all the ingredients( Semolina, flour, salt and baking powder) and knead the dough.the dough must be soft.
  • Cover it with a damp cloth.
  • Rest the dough for 15 minutes.
  • prepare pani by grinding all the ingredients into mixer jar . Add Coriander and garlic.
  • Add cumin, chilli, salt , pani puri masala and hing. Add Lemon juice and grind it to make pani for pani puri.
  • Add 3 cups of water to it and add boondi. PANI is ready
  • heat oil in a pan and divide the dough in two parts.
  • start rolling a big chapati and cut with round cutter to make puri shapes.
  • Start frying puri. Puri will puff on their own if dough is well prepared.
