Ingredients

  • For Puri: 1 cup Whole wheat flour 1/2Cup all purpose flour 1/4 cup Sooji/Semolina 1/4 teaspoon salt Water to make dough Vegetable oil, for frying


  • For Filling 1 cup yellow peas boiled 1 large potato boiled and mashed Red chili powder 1/2tsp 1/4 cup fresh chopped coriander leave Pani Puri Masala 1/4tsp Chaat masala 1 tsp Roasted cumin n red chilli powder 1/4tsp salt to taste


  • For Garnish Curd(whisked) 1 cup Shredded cucumber 1/2cup Shredded tomato 1/4 cup Shredded Onions 1/4cup Sev 1 cup pomegranate seed 1/4cup chat Masala 2 tbsp Green chutney 1/4cup Tamarind chutney 1/4cup

Directions

  • For Puri Mix together the sooji, wheat flour and salt in a bowl.
  • Add enough water to make a soft dough
  • Cover and let it sit for about 30 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, pour oil into a large deep skillet or wok and heat the oil.
  • Roll the dough into approximately 1 1/4-inch-diameter discs.
  • Slip the discs into the hot oil one at a time, working in batches, flipping them with a slotted spoon as they puff up until light brown.
  • Drain on a paper-towel-lined-tray and let cool.
  • They will continue to crisp as they cool.
  • For Filling Mix everything in a mixing bowl and filling is ready.
  • Assembling Make a small hole in the puri's, just by tapping lightly with fingers.
  • Fill the some filling with help of a spoon in all puri's.
  • Topped it with curd, cucumber, tomato,onion, chutney.
  • Add sev and pomegranate and Sprinkle chat masala.
