Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 beetroot


  • 3 natural red hibiscus flowers petals


  • 4tsp sugar


  • 2tsp ghee


  • 1 cardamom


  • 200ml milk

Directions

  • Wash the beetroot and peel off the skin, and great them.
  • Clean the hibiscus flowers and separate the petals.
  • Take a pan, pour ghee,beetroot and hibiscus petals along with the ghee.
  • Just mix them well. Add sugar and stir.
  • After 2 minutes add 200 ml into that mix. And cardamom.
  • Dry up the milk into the halwa.
  • After drying the halwa becomes to a thick mix.
  • Add fried cashew nuts for garnishing.
  • After cooling, the mix can be made into any shapes like square,diamond, or round.
